Bet you were surprised about that one! You see, I also love metal and my inspiration for the backsplash below.
Somehow, I find that these two elements, arches and metal, to be a great balance in my designs.
The arch that is carved within the fireplace surround connects the lines of the tangents of the windows even though the radius is not the same. Also, the metallic grids of the mirror relates back to my affinity to the material.
Even in products. I gravitate towards a more curved sillhouette. Like for instance, Franke’s VNX12037. Even with the curve, I can fit a full cookie sheet on the left side of the sink. Imagine that. Gotta love a sink that can let you soak a messy sheet flat!!
There’s beauty all around. Be inspired. See what happens when you see a car on the road? You end up designing everything including the kitchen sink!
